George Thomas Bailey (February 7, 1949 – September 2, 2005) was an American football running back in the National Football League. He was a 10th round selection (256th overall pick) in the 1971 NFL Draft out of Florida State University. He played four seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles (1971–1974). After his football career, Bailey had a successful career in the consumer products industry and raised two children, by his wife Susan, in the Dallas, Texas area. He died on September 2, 2005 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
